Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Senior Project Manager for Life Sciences projects in San Diego. This role oversees project setup, implementation and execution through completion of construction, qualification, and operational readiness with client teams.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience, a related degree, and strong PM skills in contract negotiation, cost/schedule management, and client relations. This full-time position emphasizes leadership across multi-site teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration or related field.
10+ years of related experience.
Life sciences experience preferred.
Advanced project management skills with demonstrated understanding of project management business.
Experience supporting business development initiatives as assigned or requested.
Strong communication and client-relations skills.

Responsibilities

Contributes to project strategy with Directors and executes within Cushman & Wakefield and client teams.
Manages overall project cost, schedule, risk, and scope; develops project charter and execution plan.
Drives scope and contractors to meet schedule and cost objectives.
Organizes people and resources across project phases and office/department boundaries.
Implements plans with construction cost and benefit analysis as required.
Oversees project implementation and completion of construction; coordinates operational readiness with owner team.
Prepare RFQs/RFPs for vendor and contractor services; review subcontract proposals.
Negotiate contracts and monitor performance of contracted vendors/consultants.
Review, validate and audit cost estimates; develop and own Master Project Schedule.
