Job summary
LJC Design & Engineering is seeking an experienced Project Architect to join its Life Sciences practice. You will lead technical design for regulated facilities, translating client requirements into compliant, constructible solutions and coordinating with project managers, process architects, engineers, and construction teams.
You will drive design through all phases, ensure compliance with cGMP, FDA, EU guidelines, and ISO cleanroom standards, while mentoring junior staff and delivering
Qualifications
- 7+ years of architectural experience in life sciences manufacturing or regulated facilities.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
- Registered Architect with an active professional license.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit and related design/documentation tools.
Responsibilities
- Lead architectural design and technical execution for life sciences projects, including pharma and biotech facilities.
- Translate client workflows, regulatory requirements, and technical criteria into effective architectural solutions.
- Provide expertise in programming, feasibility studies, facility planning, cleanroom design, and process adjacencies.
