Cooley LLP is seeking a Marketing Senior Manager - Life Sciences to join the Marketing and Business Development team. This role acts as a strategic consultant bridging practice leadership and the broader Marketing & Client Development organization.

Responsibilities include directing narrative strategy for directories, leading market intelligence, defining GTM programs, and overseeing high-impact pitches and materials to drive pipeline opportunities.

Qualifications

After orientation at Cooley LLP, exhibit proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, iManage and other firm applications.
Ability to travel, as required.
7+ years applicable experience in marketing or business development, with 2+ years of exempt/management experience.
Prior professional services experience and/or B2B marketing experience.
For life science roles, demonstrated life sciences industry experience.

Responsibilities

Direct the narrative strategy for legal directories and rankings to reflect the practice’s expertise.
Lead market intelligence to inform partner-level strategic planning.
Define GTM content requirements for industry programs and coordinate with content teams.
Develop high-impact pitch strategy and manage complex RFPs and pitches.
Oversee material strategy and sponsorship ROI assessments.
Coordinate with client development to convert events into pipeline opportunities.
Liaise with content and creative to leverage thought leadership.
Supervise and mentor direct reports and participate in hiring and performance processes.
