Job summary

Cooley LLP is seeking a Marketing Specialist – Life Sciences to join the Marketing & Client Development team in Santa Monica. The role supports BU leadership with strategic and tactical marketing plans across the firm’s practice groups, translating objectives into actionable plans and materials.

You will maintain collateral, manage CRM data hygiene, coordinate event materials, and track activities and sponsorships. Strong communication and team collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years applicable experience in marketing or business development.
• Professional services industry experience and/or B2B marketing experience.
• Must have demonstrated industry experience in life sciences.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and firm applications.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collateral Maintenance: update practice descriptions, brochures, and digital bios.
• CRM Data Hygiene: maintain practice lists and relationship data.
• Logistical Material Support: coordinate standard marketing kits and attendee materials.
• Standard Activity Reporting: pull reports on pitch volume and pipeline status.
• Matter Experience Entry: input matter details into the experience database.
• Sponsorship Tracking: maintain BU sponsorship tracker and deliverables.
• Digital Profile Coordination: coordinate updates to bios and external directories.
• Administrative Project Support: support large BU projects (e.g., Chambers submission).
• All other duties as assigned.
