Job summary

JLL is seeking a Senior Project Manager in Reno, NV to lead complex laboratory, vivarium, facilities and utilities construction projects from inception to closeout. You will apply deep life-science project knowledge, manage budgets and schedules, and coordinate with clients, contractors and consultants to deliver high-impact real estate projects.

Responsibilities include creating execution plans, conducting risk analysis, guiding procurement, and ensuring data integrity in project governance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management and 5+ years of project management experience.
• Strong knowledge of Project Management, Building Design & Construction, CPM scheduling, cost modeling and risk analysis.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with client and vendor management experience.
• Proficiency in IT including Internet, Windows, and common project software tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide management and daily leadership for project teams and serve as primary client contact.
• Manage budgets, schedules, procurement, quality, and risk across all project phases.
• Develop and execute project execution plans and communication strategies.
• Identify and hire resources through qualifications, RFPs, and bid analysis.
• Apply life science project knowledge to guide critical decisions and mitigate changes.
• Manage change requests and secure client approvals; monitor documentation and forecasts.
