Job summary

WTW is seeking a Senior Life Sciences Broker – North America to develop, market, and place complex insurance and risk solutions for life sciences clients across North America. You will serve as a trusted advisor, leveraging market knowledge and carrier relationships to deliver strategic outcomes and optimize total cost of risk.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
• 10–15+ years of insurance broking, underwriting, or risk management experience.
• Experience serving life sciences, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or medical technology clients.
• Strong knowledge of commercial insurance coverages and specialty life sciences risks.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate exposures, claims, and finances.
• Proven track record of client retention and business development success.

Responsibilities

• Serve as lead broker and strategic advisor for life sciences clients.
• Develop understanding of client operations, risk exposures, and growth strategies.
• Provide guidance on insurance program design, risk financing, and industry risks.
• Lead renewal strategies and present solutions to executive stakeholders.
• Foster long-term client relationships through proactive engagement and service.
• Design, market, negotiate, and place complex programs across lines of coverage.
• Develop tailored solutions for life sciences organizations from startups to multinationals.
• Negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and coverage with carriers.
• Maintain relationships with domestic and international markets.
• Collaborate with teams to develop winning client strategies and grow revenue.
