Job summary

NOOTER is seeking a Senior Project Manager for Life Sciences Construction to lead capital projects for pharmaceutical, biotech, and laboratory facilities. You will manage from preconstruction through startup, coordinating owners, validation, and quality teams while ensuring safety, schedule, and budget objectives are met.

The role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to deliver results in highly regulated environments with a focus on quality and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business or related field.
• Minimum of five years of experience managing pharma, life sciences, or technical construction projects.
• Experience with project budgets, forecasts, schedules, and subcontractors.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary project teams in active construction environments.
• Knowledge of construction means, methods, controls, and risk management.
• Ability to read drawings, specs, contracts, and documentation.
• Experience using scheduling and project management software.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; able to make decisions under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead capital construction projects for pharmaceutical, biotech, and lab facilities from preconstruction through startup.
• Coordinate activities with owners, validation teams, quality personnel, subcontractors, and field supervision.
• Oversee financial performance, client communications, progress meetings, and schedule reviews.
• Ensure activities support quality systems, commissioning, validation, and operational readiness.
• Provide proactive leadership, sound judgment, and accountability in regulated environments.
