Qualifications

• 8+ years of Business Analyst experience in life sciences or related fields.
• Experience gathering requirements, conducting gap analysis, process mapping, and documentation.
• Experience with Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical, Drug Discovery, or Research organizations.
• Strong understanding of chemistry concepts and collaboration with medicinal chemists or therapeutic discovery teams.
• Experience supporting preclinical research environments and scientific data initiatives.
• Understanding of In Vitro Research Data, Animal Study Data, PK/PD, and Toxicology Data.
• Hands-on Jira for requirements management, user story creation, backlog management, and workflow tracking.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional communication across scientific, business, and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate requirements gathering, workshops, and gap analysis with scientists and stakeholders.
• Translate complex workflows into business, functional, and technical requirements.
• Create and maintain process maps, user stories, BRDs, and supporting docs.
• Utilize Jira to manage requirements, track items, and support Agile delivery.
• Support preclinical data initiatives (in vitro, animal studies, PK/PD, toxicology) and ensure adoption of solutions.
• Partner with IT, data, and business teams for successful implementation and adoption.
• Manage stakeholder communications across cross-functional teams.
