Job summary

MERGE is seeking a Sr. Account Director in a hybrid remote role with responsibilities across Life Sciences, Payor & Financial Services. You will lead account management, nurture client relationships, and drive strategic initiatives and budgets while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

You will mentor a team, develop enduring client partnerships, and contribute to the agency’s growth while maintaining strong financial stewardship and strategic guidance.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of account management experience at an advertising agency with traditional and digital channels.
• Life Sciences (MedTech/Device/Pharma) experience and MLR process knowledge.
• Strong strategic ideation, tactical activation, and financial management.
• Advanced client management skills, especially expanding business within existing clients.
• Managerial experience of at least 1 direct report.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and lead all account management processes and client relationships.
• Drive strategic, creative, and financial success across Life Sciences/Pharma accounts.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver on strategy, timelines, and budgets.
• Mentor and develop the account team and maintain client satisfaction.
• Represent the agency in senior client conversations and thought leadership.
