Job summary

Turner & Townsend are seeking an experienced Senior Construction Manager to join our Life Science Sector team in Huntsville, Alabama, supporting large-scale construction projects. The ideal candidate will manage stakeholders, schedules, and governance to deliver compliant projects.

You will collaborate with architects, engineers, and suppliers; monitor milestones; produce status reports; and ensure adherence to design standards while providing cost control and constructability guidance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in construction management or civil engineering (or equivalent) is required.
Minimum 8–12 years of relevant project management experience.
Strong organizational and management skills, with the ability to work effectively and collaboratively with the broader team.
Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Procore, and construction project management tools.

Responsibilities

Manage stakeholders including architects, engineers, and suppliers to deliver compliant projects.
Analyze, track, and effectively manage critical milestone activities to avoid schedule slips.
Verify that effective project governance, processes and systems are utilized.
Produce formal project status reports and other reports as required.
Monitor the progress of multiple construction projects to ensure design standards are applied correctly.
