Job summary

Genworth is seeking a Senior Actuary in Life Modeling to lead AXIS-based UL and Traditional Life modeling efforts. You will guide projects, shape modeling approaches, and partner with IT and valuation teams to deploy scalable, auditable processes.

You will mentor staff, manage priorities, and contribute to ongoing modernization while ensuring governance and documentation across Life models.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Finance, Engineering, or related field.
• FSA or ASA with 7+ years of actuarial/insurance experience.
• 8+ years life insurance experience across UL and TRAD products.
• Strong modeling, data tooling, and automation capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to Modeling & Modernization initiatives, including AXIS migrations.
• Design, build, test, and deploy AXIS models for valuation and projection.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams on data flows and reporting.
• Provide subject matter expertise and mentor junior staff.
• Develop clear model documentation and governance.
