Protingent Staffing is seeking a hands-on Senior Manufacturing Test Engineer to lead calibration and end-of-line test operations for LiDAR products in a production environment. You will support production test stations, troubleshoot issues, and partner with CM/EMS providers to enable high-volume manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Optical, Physics, Mechanical or related field.
• 8+ years in manufacturing, production test or test engineering, preferably in optics or complex hardware.

Responsibilities

• Own calibration and EOL test processes for LiDAR systems and subassemblies.
• Set up, validate, and improve production test stations and fixtures.
• Execute test and calibration procedures during NPI, pilot builds, and volume production.
• Troubleshoot test failures and drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with CM/EMS providers and cross-functional teams for production readiness.
• Drive yield improvement and test robustness across manufacturing test ops.
• Maintain test docs, work instructions, and EC records.
• Participate in DFT/DFM reviews to improve manufacturability and test coverage.
