Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Licensing professional to research, prepare, and submit complex license applications for pharmacy and adult beverage renewals, and to obtain licenses for new locations or special projects. You will coordinate with jurisdictions and business partners to ensure compliance with all requirements.

The role involves guiding and mentoring Licensing staff, exercising independent judgement, and communicating progress to leadership. Walgreens operates ~8,500 stores across the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher with corporate office experience.
• Experience with state and federal agency regulations of pharmacies/health care facilities is preferred.
• Paralegal certificate is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit complex license applications for jurisdictions.
• Communicate with Licensing leadership and business partners to align goals.
• Represent Licensing with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Provide training and guidance to other Licensing team members.
• Demonstrate independent judgement to identify issues and report findings.
