Job summary

Walgreens Licensing Specialist I performs and coordinates basic day to day functions to support the license operations. Responsible for preparing and submitting entry level license renewal applications, for supporting the requirements to obtain licenses for new locations or supporting the licensing process for special projects.

The Licensing Specialist I gathers supporting documentation and signatures and ensures compliance with jurisdiction requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and at least 1 year of office experience.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and escalate when needed.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint; strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Research, prepare, and submit entry level license renewals.
• Research applicable rules and regulations within each state, county and city affecting license applications.
• Respond to questions within established policies and procedures; represent the department professionally.
• Update data, systems, and resources; keep management informed of changes.
• Organize and maintain department databases and files; participate in specific projects.
