Walgreens Co. is seeking a Licensing Specialist to manage complex license applications and renewals. You will work with jurisdictions and internal partners to ensure compliance, prepare documentation, and coordinate approvals for new locations and special projects.

Responsibilities include advising leadership, training team members, and negotiating issues with regulators. A relevant degree and licensing experience in healthcare or pharmacy contexts are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 1+ year of corporate office experience, or Associate’s degree with 2+ years, or HS diploma with 4+ years of corporate office experience.
• Experience with state and federal agency regulations of pharmacies and other health care facilities.
• Undergraduate degree and a Paralegal certificate from an ABA-certified program is preferred.
• Experience in a retail environment and/or healthcare setting with licensing contexts.
• Experience evaluating information to determine compliance with standards, laws and regulations.
• Experience with project management and organizing resources to complete projects on time.
• Strong written communication and ability to draft/prepare legal documents and reports.
• Intermediate MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsabilités

• Prepare and submit complex license applications, meeting jurisdiction requirements.
• Communicate with Licensing leadership and business partners to align goals.
• Represent Licensing internally to partners and externally to licensing jurisdictions.
• Demonstrate independent judgement and identify issues affecting operations, reporting findings.
• Provide guidance by training or mentoring other Licensing team members.
