Job summary

YuMe Toys, a Maxx Group Company, seeks an experienced Licensing Manager to identify, evaluate, negotiate, and secure licensing opportunities that grow our licensed toys and collectibles portfolio. The role requires building relationships with studios, brand owners, sports organizations, and agencies, negotiating agreements, and guiding product launches from concept to market.

International travel is required as you represent the company at trade shows and partner meetings while ensuring brand

Qualifications

• 5+ years of licensing, business development, brand partnerships, consumer products, or toys & collectibles industry experience.
• Proven experience negotiating and securing IP licensing agreements.
• Strong network within licensing, entertainment, gaming, or consumer products industries, preferably with international outlook.
• Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Research and identify licensing opportunities across entertainment, gaming, sports, digital media, influencers, publishing, and lifestyle brands.
• Develop and execute licensing acquisition strategies that support company growth objectives.
• Evaluate commercial viability through market research, sales forecasting, and competitive analysis.
• Lead negotiations of licensing agreements, term sheets, royalty structures, and minimum guarantees.
• Collaborate with Creative, Product Development, Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Operations teams to assess opportunities.
• Establish and maintain relationships with licensors, agencies, studios, and industry partners.
• Represent the company at licensing trade shows and events; international travel is required.
