Job summary

YuMe Toys, a Maxx Group Company, seeks an experienced Licensing Manager to drive licensing opportunities from concept to market. You will identify opportunities across entertainment, gaming, sports, and lifestyle brands, and lead negotiations with licensors and studios.

You will collaborate with Creative, Product Development, Marketing, and Sales to align product strategy with brand guidelines while managing budgets and timelines. International travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field.
• 5+ years in licensing, business development, or toy/entertainment licensing roles.
• Proven experience negotiating and securing IP licensing agreements.
• Strong network in licensing, entertainment, or consumer products industries with international outlook.
• Excellent commercial acumen and analytical capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate licensing opportunities across entertainment, gaming, sports, and lifestyle brands.
• Lead negotiations of licensing agreements, term sheets, royalties, and minimum guarantees.
• Manage relationships with licensors, agencies, studios and brand owners; represent the company at events.
• Collaborate with Creative, Product Development, Marketing, Sales, Finance and Operations to assess licensing opportunities and support launches.
• Track licensing budgets, royalties, renewals and performance; prepare regular pipeline and portfolio reports.
