Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville, NC is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant to join the Physical Therapy team. The PTA will collaborate with the physical therapist, develop and adjust treatment plans, and deliver therapeutic interventions to patients referred for therapy services.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate’s degree in PTA, an active NC PTA license, and at least two years of PTA experience.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an APTA-accredited program.
  • Current North Carolina license to practice physical therapy.
  • 2 years of PTA experienceRequired.

Responsibilities

  • Recognizes, selects, and utilizes effective methods of verbal and non-verbal interactions based on patient age.
  • Develops and modifies goals and treatment plans with the supervising PT.
  • Delivers various therapeutic interventions accurately and effectively.
  • Documents services clearly, concisely, and accurately for billing and records.
  • Works as an administrative and clinical resource within departments.
