Job summary

Cardinal Civil Resources of Rock Hill, SC is seeking a seasoned PLS to lead project delivery. You will manage budgets, schedules, contracts, and client relations while guiding surveyors, CAD technicians, and coordinators to on-time, on-budget results.

Responsibilities include planning fieldwork, ensuring data integrity, final map checks, signing/sealing documents, and driving business development with clients. Safety and quality are top priorities across projects.

Qualifications

• Graduation from high school or GED; advanced degree desirable.
• Minimum of four years of land surveying experience, two in senior management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project budgets, estimates, costs, and schedules.
• Supervise surveyors, project coordinators, and CAD techs.
• Prepare client invoices, deliverables, and project correspondence.
• Schedule fieldwork, office work, and project deliverables.
• Establish deadlines and monitor progress across projects.
• Represent senior stakeholders in meetings.
• Prepare change orders and monitor budgets.
• Plan and coordinate operations including project managers and field staff.
• Ensure timely, accurate survey data and final map checks.
• Mentor staff and develop client relationships.
• Support business development and proposals.
