Qualifications

• Active Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license in Massachusetts.
• 5+ years of professional land surveying experience.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Surveying or related field preferred.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Carlson Survey.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong organization and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform and oversee a variety of land surveying projects.
• Prepare and review boundary, topographic, and statutory surveys.
• Complete property line closures and boundary determinations.
• Research deeds, land records, survey documents, and title information.
• Prepare sketches, maps, legal descriptions, and survey reports.
• Verify survey data, calculations, and field information.
• Coordinate with engineering teams to provide existing conditions and construction support.
• Develop project schedules and ensure survey deliverables meet client expectations and deadlines.
• Maintain project documentation and quality standards.
• Attend municipal meetings or public hearings as required.
• Ensure compliance with applicable surveying regulations and industry standards.
