Job summary

Our client, a successful Accessory company based in Cranford, NJ, seeks a Senior Accessory Designer to develop innovative, licensed consumer products for wholesale/retail channels. You will translate brands and artwork into commercially viable items and manage multiple licensing projects.

The role emphasizes CAD creation, mockups, and production-ready artwork, with a strong focus on trends and brand guidelines from licensors such as Nintendo, Warner Bros., Paramount, and others.

Qualifications

• 10-15 years of professional product design experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Product Design, Fashion Design, Graphic Design, or related field preferred.
• Experience designing licensed consumer products strongly preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Ability to create CADs, mockups, presentations, and production-ready artwork.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop new product concepts.
• Create original, trend-driven product ideas based on consumer insights, licensed properties, and online opportunities.
• Translate licensed characters, brands, and artwork into creative and commercially viable products.
• Create product CADs, mockups, artwork, and presentations to clearly communicate design concepts.
• Develop products with the retail consumer in mind, including products that are visually impactful and differentiated in the marketplace.
• Work within licensor brand guidelines while finding creative ways to make products feel fresh and unique.
• Incorporate feedback from licensors and internal teams into product designs.
• Manage multiple projects and licensed properties simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
