Job summary

Truckee Meadows Community College (TMCC) in Reno, NV seeks a Librarian Technician 3 to lead library operations and supervise staff and students. The role focuses on data and assessment, budget administration, and ILS management to ensure high quality service.

Reporting to the Associate Dean, you will drive workflow improvements, support accreditation reporting, and coordinate acquisitions and catalog maintenance within the Alma system.

Qualifications

• Graduation from high school or equivalent and 4 years library experience, including two years of technical duties.
• One year as Library Technician II in Nevada State service or equivalent.
• Preferred: experience in academic libraries and BI reporting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise library technicians and student workers.
• Coordinate staffing and daily library operations.
• Develop training materials and procedures for operations.
• Collect and report library statistics and dashboards.
• Administer Alma ILS and support catalog management.
