Library Systems & Services, LLC is seeking a Branch Manager 3 to oversee daily operations of one or more library sites in California, guiding staff, planning services, and ensuring policy compliance. The role emphasizes a welcoming community space and collaboration with local officials to support the Riverside County Library System (RCLS).

The position requires strong leadership, communication, and tech-savviness, with a focus on DEI and service excellence for patrons of all ages and backgrounds.

Qualifications

• MLIS preferred.
• BA/BS required.
• Three years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Three years of progressively responsible library managerial experience and/or administrative functions preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Strong technology skills and ability to learn new systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of multiple library sites or a large branch.
• Coach and develop staff; provide feedback and professional development.
• Develop relationships with the community and local officials to promote library use.
• Work with leadership to implement the library's strategic plan.
• Ensure compliance with policies and the Library Bill of Rights and privacy requirements.
• Foster diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility in the workplace.
