Job summary

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited four-year college or university.
• Two and a half (2-1/2) years of progressively responsible professional librarianship experience.
• At least one year of experience comparable to Librarian III.
• Substitutions described in the Minimum Qualification Requirements apply.

Responsibilities

• Plans and supervises the operation of a PUBLIC library.
• Serves as a specialist for reference and materials, or cataloging and classification.
• Plans, coordinates and evaluates library services in a major service area.
• Provides specialized reference services and materials to departmental/program personnel.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
