Berkshire Hathaway GUARD Insurance Companies is hiring a Senior Liability Adjuster to manage a caseload of 80-115 commercial general liability claims, including large-loss matters with exposures up to and exceeding policy limits.

You will own complex high-exposure CGL claims, analyze coverage and risk transfer, develop resolution strategies, negotiate settlements, and direct defense counsel while evaluating evidence and establishing reserves. Occasional travel required.

Qualifikationen

• 10+ years of prior experience adjusting CGL and BOP liability claims or equivalent experience.
• Bachelor's degree; active attorney license is a plus.
• Advanced knowledge of coverage analysis and policy interpretation.
• Experience evaluating contracts, priority of coverage, and risk transfer opportunities.
• Strong written, verbal, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Proven ability to prioritize and manage a complex claims caseload.
• Ability to travel occasionally for mediations, hearings, trials, and conferences.
• Licensing Requirement: active adjuster license or willingness to obtain and maintain state licenses.
