Job summary

Morgan Stanley's New York office seeks a Senior Associate for Leveraged Finance Coverage/Origination. You will help underwrite, market, and execute leveraged loans, high yield bonds and private credit, while collaborating with teams across capital markets.

The role requires strong analytics, communication, and a drive to develop a career in global capital markets, with a base salary range and total compensation described by the recruiter.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required; MBA, CA and/or CFA designation is an asset.
• 2+ years of Leveraged Finance or Investment Banking experience as an Analyst/Associate.
• Series licensing or must obtain (SIE, S79, S7, S63).

Responsibilities

• Assist with underwriting, marketing, and execution of transactions.
• Prepare pitches, financial analyses, client presentations, and memos.
• Support deal execution: investor outreach, roadshows, data rooms, allocations.
• Demonstrate motivation, attention to detail, and strong work ethic.
• Take ownership of processes and deliver strong project outcomes.
• Communicate clearly and maintain a positive, proactive attitude.
• Show interest in Capital Markets and Investment Banking.
• Be analytical, proactive, and a collaborative team player.
• Excel, Word, and PowerPoint proficiency for modeling and reporting.
• Perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Pursue a long-term career in Global Capital Markets.
