Job summary

Morgan Stanley's Strategic Lending Group in New York seeks an Associate to support evaluation, structuring, approval and ongoing management of corporate lending transactions. You will collaborate across IBD, GCM, Sales & Trading and Credit Risk to drive deal execution.

The role offers exposure to M&A and LBO financing, working capital facilities and portfolio strategy initiatives, with opportunities to influence investment decisions and revenue growth within a leading global bank.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in financial sector, Global Capital Markets, Investment Banking, or Corporate Finance preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong client and interpersonal skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Review lending requests and present to investment committee.
• Coordinate with IBD, GCM and Credit Risk Management teams on deals.
• Review and negotiate loan documentation for working capital facilities.
• Provide regular portfolio reporting and ad-hoc data analysis.
