Job summary

Rhinebeck Bank is seeking a Senior Commercial Credit Analyst in Poughkeepsie, NY, on-site. The role focuses on underwriting leveraged loans, large and complex commercial loans, lines of credit, time notes and mortgages, plus underwriting credit cards.

The candidate will analyze loan requests, present to approving authorities, and may be granted lending authority with potential for officer titles as determined by management. Strong policy knowledge and regulatory compliance are required.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting
• 3–5 years of commercial credit experience
• MBA is preferred

Responsibilities

• Underwrite loans according to policy and recommend approval/declination
• Analyze, present and recommend loan requests to approving authorities
• Underwrite leveraged loans and manage the review process for leveraged loans
• Assist in training department staff and interns
• Coordinate monthly renewals and assist in reporting as needed
