Job summary

The Ascendancy Group LTD in the United States seeks a Senior SOF Reports Officer to provide senior-level HUMINT reporting and collection-management support for SAMMC operations.

Qualifications

  • Familiarity with portals and real-time knowledge/collection management systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication; meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as Senior SOF Reports Officer and technical collection SME.
  • Provide support for dataflow management requests and support teams.
  • Advise on internal requirements policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Review HUMINT reporting and processing of IIRs; ensure quality.
  • Draft, format, review, and quality-check IIRs, collection emphasis messages, and CCRs.
  • Ensure compliance with MACOM and DIA policies and guidance.
  • Verify information meets PIR and national information collection requirements thresholds.
  • Maintain IIR reporting metrics to support collection management mission.
  • Utilize intelligence tools for qualitative review of platform/collector performance.
  • Support monthly reporting of IIR metrics and tracking requirements actions.
  • Implement efficient data management processes with data quality and retrieval in mind.
  • Solicit, analyze, document, and prioritize analyst needs.
  • Provide real-time updates of collection requirements through existing databases.

Overview

As a Senior SOF Reports Officer, you will provide senior-level expertise and direct support to the intelligence requirements of ARSOF Sensitive Activities Mission Management Cells (SAMMC). You will manage HUMINT reporting and requirements processes, including collection strategy development, analytical research, and the production of intelligence products supporting target development and operational decision-making. You will review and ensure the quality, compliance, and dissemination of Intelligence Information Reports (IIRs), collection requirements, and coordination requests while maintaining reporting metrics and data integrity. You will leverage intelligence tools and analytical expertise to assess HUMINT operations, manage information workflows, and support collection management activities. You will coordinate with internal, inter-service, and interagency partners to enable sensitive capabilities, target deconfliction, and mission success. Additionally, you will provide HUMINT expertise, mentorship, and training to junior analysts while delivering actionable intelligence products to support senior leaders and SAMMC operations.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Serves as Senior SOF Reports Officer and as a technical collection SME.
  • Provide support for dataflow management requests and support teams.
  • Serve as subject matter expert on internal and external requirements policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Review HUMINT reporting and the processing of Intelligence Information Reports (IIRs).
  • Draft, format, review, and quality check IIRs, collection emphasis messages, and CCRs.
  • Ensure compliance with local Major Command (MACOM) and Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) specified policies and guidance.
  • Verify information meets unit Priority Intelligence Requirements (PIR) and national information collection requirements reporting thresholds.
  • Maintain IIR reporting metrics to support the collection management mission.
  • Utilize intelligence tools for qualitative review of platform/collector performance.
  • Support monthly reporting of IIR metrics.
  • Monitor and track requirements documentation actions.
  • Implement efficient data management processes, ensuring data quality and integrity, and facilitating seamless retrieval and analysis of information.
  • Solicit, analyze, document, and facilitate prioritization and validation of analyst needs.
  • Provides consistent real-time updates of collection and planned collection requirements through existing databases.

Requirements

Position Requirements:

Required:

  • A bachelor’s degree and 7 years of experience or 10+ years of relevant work experience. Experience should be as a HUMINT Reports Manager or Requirements Manager requirements manager.
  • Applicable experience in HUMINT reporting, processing, and collection requirements.
  • Demonstrated expertise in IIR and CCR reporting, quality checking, and evaluation.
  • Working knowledge of the tools, methods, and concepts of portals and other real-time or near-real-time knowledge and collection management systems.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong attention to detail.

Desired:

  • Experience supporting USASOC or Joint SOF organizations.
  • Must work independently with limited government oversight and function effectively as part of a team in a joint working environment.
  • Experience conducting intelligence analysis and planning supporting Theater Special Operations Commands.
  • Experience in a deployed environment as Sensitive Activities supporting SOF.
