Job summary

The Ascendancy Group is seeking a Senior SOF Intelligence and Operations Integrator to provide senior-level guidance in Sensitive Activities and Intelligence Operations, supporting SAMMC. You will integrate intelligence with operational requirements and coordinate with IC partners to inform decision-makers.

You will mentor personnel, supervise analysts, and ensure readiness to respond to emergent situations, applying Joint SOF planning methodologies and SOF doctrine to mission documentation.

Qualifications

• Former Intelligence Case Officer or Senior SOF field grade officer with a minimum of 12 years recent SA experience and 4+ years managing SA in IA or SOF.
• Graduate of IA Category 1 Collector producing course or Advanced Special Operations Training Course (ASOTC) graduate; SWTC, JITC or ASOT Manager’s Course preferred.
• Experience conducting or managing sensitive activities in the PACOM AOR and Joint Planning Process preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to deliver high-standard products.
• Critical and conceptual thinking; strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently or in diverse teams.

• Analyze multi-domain intelligence to support SA pathway development for ARSOF and theater commands.

• Supervise analysts, planners, and integrators in creating operations and intelligence products.

Overview

As a Senior SOF Intelligence and Operations Integrator, you will provide senior-level expertise and guidance in SOF Sensitive Activities (SA) and Intelligence Operations supporting ARSOF Sensitive Activities Mission Management Cells (SAMMC). You will advise on mission management, requirements, authorities, and operational integration while applying Joint SOF planning methodologies to develop and synchronize operational plans, CONOPs, EXORDs, and other mission documentation. You will integrate intelligence with operational requirements, coordinate with Intelligence Community partners and mission enablers, and provide assessments, planning support, and situational awareness to senior leaders. You will ensure alignment with SOF doctrine, policy, and procedures while supporting sensitive activities, Irregular Warfare, Special Technical Operations, Information Operations, Military Deception, Electronic Warfare, and Cyberspace and Space Operations.

Security Requirement:

• Current Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security clearance.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Provide mentorship to assigned contractor personnel.
• Serve as an embedded SA Intelligence and Operations Integrator if required.
• Analyze multi-domain intelligence to discover, develop, and assist in SA pathway development supporting ARSOF and parent Theatre Special Operations Commands.
• Leverage and deliver the tools, expert analysis, and tradecraft required to provide timely, relevant, actionable, and understandable intelligence and planning material to inform decision-makers and influence outcomes.
• Teach, coach, and mentor supported SOF unit intelligence and operational personnel to master these activities.
• Supervise other Analysts, Planners, and Integrators in the development of a range of operations and intelligence products as well as material and training solutions.
• Maintain readiness and availability to respond to emergent situations outside of normal business hours.

Required:

• Former Intelligence Case Officer or Special Operations field grade officer, warrant officer, or senior non-commissioned officer with a minimum of 12 years recent experience conducting Sensitive Activities and 4 or more years managing SA in the IA or SOF.
• Candidate must be a graduate of an IA Category 1 Collector producing course or be an Advanced Special Operations Training Course (ASOTC) (or equivalent) graduate; Special Warfare Training Course (SWTC), Jedburgh Individual Training Course (JITC) or ASOT Manager’s Course graduation is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience conducting, supporting, and/or managing sensitive activities in the PACOM AOR and the Joint Planning Process is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written; possess the ability to organize and deliver verbal and written products that achieve an exceptionally high standard.
• Critical and conceptual thinking skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently with limited oversight or as part of a diverse team.

Desired:

• More than 10 years of SA operational experience
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 6 years of specialized experience; OR 10 years of specialized experience.
