Job summary

The Ascendancy Group in Colorado Springs is seeking a Senior SOF Reports Officer to provide senior-level HUMINT reporting expertise, support SAMMC mission management, and oversee IIR/CCR processing to support target development and operational decisions.

You will mentor junior analysts, ensure compliance with MACOM/DIA guidance, track reporting metrics, and coordinate with interagency partners to enable sensitive capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of HUMINT/requirements experience.
• Experience in HUMINT reporting, processing, and collection requirements.
• Expertise in IIR and CCR reporting, quality checking, and evaluation.
• Working knowledge of portals and real-time collection management systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication and meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Serves as Senior SOF Reports Officer and as a technical collection SME.
• Provide support for dataflow management requests and support teams.
• Serve as subject matter expert on internal and external requirements policies, processes, and procedures.
• Review HUMINT reporting and the processing of IIRs.
• Draft, format, review, and quality check IIRs, collection emphasis messages, and CCRs.
• Ensure compliance with MACOM and DIA policies and guidance.
• Verify information meets PIR and national reporting thresholds.
• Maintain IIR reporting metrics to support the collection management mission.
• Utilize intelligence tools for qualitative review of platform/collector performance.
• Support monthly reporting of IIR metrics.
• Monitor and track requirements documentation actions.
• Implement efficient data management processes and data integrity.
• Solicit, analyze, document, and facilitate prioritization of analyst needs.
• Provide real-time updates of collection requirements through existing databases.

Overview

As a Senior SOF Reports Officer, you will provide senior-level expertise and direct support to the intelligence requirements of ARSOF Sensitive Activities Mission Management Cells (SAMMC). You will manage HUMINT reporting and requirements processes, including collection strategy development, analytical research, and the production of intelligence products supporting target development and operational decision-making. You will review and ensure the quality, compliance, and dissemination of Intelligence Information Reports (IIRs), collection requirements, and coordination requests while maintaining reporting metrics and data integrity. You will leverage intelligence tools and analytical expertise to assess HUMINT operations, manage information workflows, and support collection management activities. You will coordinate with internal, inter-service, and interagency partners to enable sensitive capabilities, target deconfliction, and mission success. Additionally, you will provide HUMINT expertise, mentorship, and training to junior analysts while delivering actionable intelligence products to support senior leaders and SAMMC operations.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Serves as Senior SOF Reports Officer and as a technical collection SME.
• Provide support for dataflow management requests and support teams.
• Serve as subject matter expert on internal and external requirements policies, processes, and procedures.
• Review HUMINT reporting and the processing of Intelligence Information Reports (IIRs).
• Draft, format, review, and quality check IIRs, collection emphasis messages, and CCRs.
• Ensure compliance with local Major Command (MACOM) and Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) specified policies and guidance.
• Verify information meets unit Priority Intelligence Requirements (PIR) and national information collection requirements reporting thresholds.
• Maintain IIR reporting metrics to support the collection management mission.
• Utilize intelligence tools for qualitative review of platform/collector performance.
• Support monthly reporting of IIR metrics.
• Monitor and track requirements documentation actions.
• Implement efficient data management processes, ensuring data quality and integrity, and facilitating seamless retrieval and analysis of information.
• Solicit, analyze, document, and facilitate prioritization and validation of analyst needs.
• Provides consistent real-time updates of collection and planned collection requirements through existing databases.

Requirements

Position Requirements:

Required:

• A bachelor’s degree and 7 years of experience or 10+ years of relevant work experience. Experience should be as a HUMINT Reports Manager or Requirements Manager requirements manager.
• Applicable experience in HUMINT reporting, processing, and collection requirements.
• Demonstrated expertise in IIR and CCR reporting, quality checking, and evaluation.Working knowledge of the tools, methods, and concepts of portals and other real-time or near-real-time knowledge and collection management systems.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong attention to detail.

Desired:

• Experience supporting USASOC or Joint SOF organizations.
• Must work independently with limited government oversight and function effectively as part of a team in a joint working environment.
• Experience conducting intelligence analysis and planning supporting Theater Special Operations Commands.
• Experience in a deployed environment as Sensitive Activities supporting SOF.
