Alma Homes seeks an enthusiastic, hardworking, and highly creative Senior Level Interior Designer to join our team in Orono, MN.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a passion for design, an ability to think outside the box, and excellent problem-solving skills. Success in this full-time role requires strong organizational and time management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Direct the design aspect of residential projects, including attending all client meetings.
• Select all interior and exterior finishes for both new home construction and remodeling projects.
• Input selection choices into the required purchasing system.
• Maintain accurate records for all product inventory and offerings in the selection center.
• Maintain and cultivate relationships with representatives from local showrooms.
• Identify and source new materials and products.
• Develop and assemble Design Boards for client presentations and meetings.
• Provide on-site support to the field team during client walk-throughs throughout the construction phase.
• Ensure clear and consistent communication with clients, vendors, and the internal team to effectively meet client needs.
• Develop and deliver professional client presentations, including 3D models, 2D mock-ups, and renderings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related discipline.
• A minimum of five years of relevant professional experience.
• Proficiency in project management, including the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Demonstrated proficiency with AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Photoshop (Revit knowledge is a plus, but not essential).
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills.

Salary & Benefits

Salary: $80,000+ (Dependent on Qualifications)

Additional Information

This is an on site position that must be willing to relocate to Minnesota. Remote candidates will not be considered.
