Job summary

Alma Homes seeks a Senior Level Interior Designer to join our Orono, MN team. The candidate should be a self-starter with a passion for design, strong problem-solving abilities, and exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple projects.

You will lead the design direction for residential builds and collaborate with clients, vendors, and the internal team. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field and at least five years of professional experience, with

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related discipline.
Minimum of five years of relevant professional experience.
Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently with strong organizational skills.
Proficiency with AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Photoshop; Revit is a plus but not essential.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Direct the design aspects of residential projects, including attending client meetings.
Select interior and exterior finishes for new homes and remodels.
Input selections into the purchasing system and maintain records of products.
Maintain relationships with local showroom representatives and source new materials.
Develop design boards and deliver client presentations; provide on-site field support during construction.
