Job summary

Escape Velocity, a fully remote game development studio, is seeking a senior Level Designer to own the design and construction of engaging levels that support mechanics, combat, and movement. You will work with designers, artists, and engineers to plan, iterate, and present level content.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of professional Level Design experience with UE5/Unity, excellent communication and playtesting skills, and a passion for autonomy, honesty, and constant improvement in a remote

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional Level Design experience using UE5 or Unity.
• Strong game design knowledge and storytelling through level layout.
• Excellent communication, mentoring, and playtesting skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the design and construction of engaging level spaces supporting mechanics, combat, and movement.
