Job summary

Eagle Eye Electric, LLC is seeking a QC Manager & Site Safety & Health Officer (QCM/SSHO) in Papillion, NE to oversee safety and quality on levee restoration projects and coordinate with government-approved procedures.

The role requires extensive USACE project experience, OSHA training, and strong leadership of safety and quality staff. Expect field-based work with long hours and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• 10+ years of demonstratable experience on levee or bank restoration projects for USACE.
• 5+ years of demonstratable experience as a SSHO on USACE projects.
• EM385 1-1 40-hour Certification (can be ongoing).
• 10-hour OSHA Construction Safety Course completed.
• 5+ years as Quality Control Manager on USACE projects.
• Current USACE Construction Quality Management for Contractors certificate.
• Experience reading/ interpreting specifications (contract, ASTM, etc).
• College coursework in construction management or civil/environmental engineering.

Responsibilities

• Perform levee restoration site duties and inspections.
• Conduct safety inspections (Daily Safety Audits, Daily Toolbox Safety Mtg).
• Review safety procedures with onsite team (Activity Hazard Analysis).
• Conduct quality inspections (Initial & Follow-up).
• Review quality procedures with onsite team (Preparatory Meetings).
• Prepare Contractor Daily Quality Control Reports using RMS 3.x.
• Maintain project submittal register.
• Attend meetings as required.
• Prepare safety documents for Government approval.
• Prepare quality documents for Government approval.
• Ensure regulatory compliance (OSHA, EM385 1-1, NFPA, ATSSA, ANSI, NIOSH).
• Manage safety and quality staff.
