Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Lessons Learned Knowledge Management professional to support USPACOM at Camp Smith, Hawaii. The role will analyze and manage lessons learned from exercises and real-world operations, serve as the JLLIS analyst, train staff, and maintain databases and reports.

Occasional travel across the US Pacific region may be required, with on-site duties in Hawaii. Must have a Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI, be a US citizen, and possess strong information management and MS

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of related work experience; additional four (4) years of work experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Experience in Information Management / Knowledge Management.
• Experience analyzing and managing lessons learned from exercises.
• Ability to articulate policy, plans, procedures, actions, and milestones clearly.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) for data synthesis and reporting.
• Knowledge of the Joint Training System.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate observation and evaluation of lessons learned for USINDOPACOM and subordinate staffs.
• US PACOM Analyst for the Joint Lessons Learned Information System (JLLIS).
• Attend battle rhythm events and represent J751 equities.
• Deliver briefs regarding lessons learned as required.
• Maintain lessons-learned and exercise summary databases using systems of record used by US PACOM.
