Job summary

E-Space in Saratoga, CA is seeking a radar/signal-processing engineer to design and deploy next-generation satellite-based radar capabilities. You will develop algorithms, implement real-time processing, and work across GPU/FPGA and software.

Requires a strong background in DSP, MATLAB/Python/C/C++, and security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required. Base pay ranges from $120,000 to $200,000 annually, with total compensation determined by experience. ITAR/EAR restrictions apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in electrical engineering, applied mathematics, physics, or a related field.
• Five or more years of radar, sonar, communications, or high-rate signal-processing experience.
• Strong DSP fundamentals and proficiency in MATLAB, Python, C/C++, CUDA, or comparable tools.
• Experience translating algorithms into real-time implementations and objective tests.
• Security clearance: U.S. citizenship is required. Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance at the Secret level or higher, and any program-specific access required for the position.

Responsibilities

• Develop algorithms for channel processing, beamforming, detection, estimation, calibration, interference mitigation, and related radar functions.
• Create performance models, simulations, reference implementations, and test vectors.
• Allocate processing functions across GPU, FPGA, embedded, and software resources.
• Characterize latency, throughput, numerical precision, resource use, and failure behavior.
• Support prototype demonstrations, requirements verification, software development, and I&T.
