Job summary

E‑Space in Saratoga, CA is seeking an Engineering Lead in IoT Systems Integration to own sensor integration, data ingestion, QA, and deployment automation. You will guide architecture, mentor engineers, and collaborate with hardware, firmware, product, and cloud teams in a hands-on leadership role.

This full-time, on-site position requires 5+ years in IoT, strong Python, and experience with AWS IoT Core or similar cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in systems integration, deployment engineering, or IoT platform development.
• Ability to lead technical teams while remaining hands-on.
• Deep experience with multi-protocol IoT ecosystems (at least 3 of Zigbee, Z-Wave, Matter, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, LoRaWAN, Cellular).
• Strong background in data pipeline design, data lakes, and ETL processes.
• Strong Python and hands-on experience with data integration frameworks.
• Proven expertise building end-to-end QA frameworks across firmware, mobile, web, and cloud.
• Experience with AWS or comparable cloud platforms for IoT data ingestion and storage.
• Strong automated-testing skills (unit, integration, end-to-end).
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, code review, and production deployment.
• Clear communicator across hardware, firmware, app, and cloud teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and guide IoT integration across sensors, edge gateways, and cloud platforms.
• Own data ingestion, quality assurance, and deployment automation.
• Lead by influence across the engineering stack and set goals and standards.
• Mentor engineers through design reviews and architecture discussions.
• Collaborate with hardware, firmware, product, and cloud teams on direction.
• Lead pilots and technical validation with partners and customers.
• Help recruit and establish technical standards for the team.
• Oversee CI/CD pipelines and production deployment processes.
• Resolve production issues across integrations, data pipelines, and cloud infra.
