Job summary

E-Space in Saratoga, CA, is seeking a senior radar/signal-processing engineer to design and deploy satellite-based radar systems for LEO platforms. You will translate algorithms into real-time implementations and optimize beamforming, calibration and processing across GPU, FPGA, and software.

The role requires a strong DSP background, proficiency in MATLAB, Python, C/C++, CUDA, and US citizenship with ability to obtain security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in electrical engineering, applied mathematics, physics, or a related field.
• Five or more years of radar, sonar, communications, or high-rate signal-processing experience.
• Strong DSP fundamentals and proficiency in MATLAB, Python, C/C++, CUDA, or comparable tools.
• Security clearance: U.S. citizenship required to obtain and maintain the required clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop algorithms for channel processing, beamforming, detection, estimation, calibration, interference mitigation, and related radar functions.
• Create performance models, simulations, reference implementations, and test vectors.
• Allocate processing functions across GPU, FPGA, embedded, and software resources.
• Characterize latency, throughput, numerical precision, resource use, and failure behavior.
• Support prototype demonstrations, requirements verification, software development, and I&T.
