E-Space is seeking a Senior Wireless Communication Systems Engineer to model, simulate, and design the physical layer modem for a LEO satellite constellation. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure integration of the modem with system components, and you will lead performance analyses and lab validation efforts.

The role requires a strong background in communication theory, DSP, and satellite systems, with extensive MATLAB/Simulink experience.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in wireless comms or research roles.
• Strong theoretical and practical background in satellite comms.
• Experience designing physical layer modems and algorithms.

Responsibilities

• Model and simulate physical layer for LEO satellite networks.
• Design modems, including coding, synchronization, and channel estimation.
• Prototype and test in lab; integrate with hardware/software teams.
• Analyze performance: link budget, throughput, latency, errors.
• Document processes, results, and provide stakeholder reports.
