Job summary

TowneBank is seeking a Senior Business Data Analyst to join the centralized reporting team. You will transform loan data and regulatory requirements into Power BI dashboards for internal stakeholders, tracking the health of lending activities.

Ideal candidates have experience in credit administration/loan portfolio reporting, with ability to translate data into actionable insights across the lending lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Financial services background with banking systems knowledge.
• 5+ years of data analytics and reporting experience.
• Ability to learn quickly and develop/build complex semantic models in Power BI.
• Cloud background and understanding of basic cloud architecture concepts.
• Strong management and leadership abilities.
• Excellent communication and sales skills.
• High integrity and ethical standards.

Responsibilities

• Loan Portfolio Reporting: monitor performance, delinquency, charge-offs, LTV.
• Credit Risk Monitoring: visualize NPL, DSCR, and concentration indicators.
• Regulatory Alignment: translate FDIC Call Reports into automated data solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align reporting and analytics with needs.
• Assess current report usage and identify efficiency improvements.
• Drive data cleansing, data flow optimization, and dashboard development.
• Tell a story with data to present clear, fact-based recommendations.
• Provide thought leadership in processes and tools aligned to objectives.
• Work across business lines to define and execute data roadmaps.
• Manage multiple initiatives through deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Understand all commercial data to meet user needs and directions.
• Adhere to AML and BSA regulations.
