Responsibilities

• Collaborates with internal departments to ensure alignment on legislative and regulatory matters and develops legislative and policy agenda.
• Researches pending or proposed legislation, monitors political environment, and prepares analyses for favorable outcomes.
• Gathers data to draft language and revisions to legislation and regulations; assesses trends for tribal impact.
• Liaises with governmental affairs stakeholders; represents the Tribe at meetings, hearings, and conferences; prepares briefs and reports.
• Manages and ensures compliance with political contribution accounts; oversees PAC and campaign finance requirements.
• Prepares reports and materials for Tribal Council, General Assembly, and other stakeholders.
