About the Senior Legal Data Intelligence Lead Role

This role is the primary industry subject matter expert within the applied science team. Reporting to the head of Applied Science, you will apply your litigation and discovery expertise to evaluate our generative AI capabilities. You will serve as the main liaison to litigators, explaining our technology, gathering feedback, and conveying their needs and nuances to our team.

Job Description and Requirements

Responsibilities

• Engage externally with clients and the industry to explain our generative AI systems and gather feedback on their performance in document analysis, classification, information protection, and knowledge curation.

• Collaborate internally with applied scientists, product managers, designers, engineers, and customer enablement teams to provide feedback on AI solutions' performance, usability, and functionality.

• Leverage your subject matter expertise to contribute to AI strategy by designing, building, and improving tests, benchmarks, and evaluation systems for our generative AI solutions.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate and 5+ years of experience practicing as a litigator or equivalent in legal services or technology.

• Hands-on experience with Relativity across various workflows, including traditional EDRM and broader legal data intelligence use cases.

• Excellent and clear communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.

• Deep interest in using generative AI responsibly to advance legal practice and access to justice.

• Understanding of TAR, statistical validation, and advanced document review and analysis techniques.

This role offers a total compensation package including a base salary, annual bonus, and long-term incentives.

The salary range is approximately $154,000 to $232,000, with the final offer based on experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity. Salary at the top of the range is uncommon to allow for future growth.
