Blue Origin is seeking a Principal Legal Counsel to join its Legal & Compliance department as the senior legal advisor for the TeraWave business unit.

This role will serve as a trusted partner to TeraWave's engineering, product, and operations teams, providing expert legal counsel on complex commercial transactions, regulatory compliance, and risk management in the satellite communications and connectivity services space.

Qualificações

• J.D. and active U.S. bar membership; ability to obtain/maintain in-house counsel status where applicable.
• 12+ years of relevant legal experience, especially in technology-focused commercial transactions.
• Experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial and technology agreements for satellite/telecom services.
• Familiarity with FCC licensing, ITU, export controls (ITAR/EAR), and data privacy in network services.
• Proven ability to translate legal risk for engineering, product, and commercial teams.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as primary legal advisor to the TeraWave unit on commercial, regulatory and operational issues.
• Draft, review, negotiate complex agreements including MSAs, SLAs, capacity/throughput agreements and licenses.
• Coordinate with regulatory counsel on FCC licensing, ITU, export controls, and data privacy for network services.
• Partner with engineering, product, sales, operations, regulatory, and government affairs to manage risk.
• Develop scalable templates, playbooks, and processes to support growth and operations.
• Monitor developments affecting satellite, connectivity, and space operations.
