Job summary

Sage is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to partner with product and technology teams in Atlanta. You will help accelerate design, development and launch of Sage solutions while prudently managing legal risk.

This role covers AI, IP, data privacy and complex commercial agreements, with an embedded, pragmatic approach to support global product initiatives. You’ll work closely with product, engineering and go-to-market teams, contributing to roadmaps, reviews and readiness activities.

Qualifications

• Experience providing pragmatic, commercially focused legal advice in a technology environment.
• Ability to negotiate complex technology and commercial agreements.
• Strong drafting, communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide commercially focused legal guidance across product development and readiness lifecycle.
• Partner with product, engineering and GTM teams to enable innovation while managing risk.
• Advise on AI, IP, data privacy and related technology law matters.
• Draft, review and negotiate a range of commercial, tech, procurement and partner agreements.
• Support regulatory/compliance requirements for products, marketing and financial services.
