Job summary

Cedar seeks a Senior Counsel to lead the development, construction, and procurement legal matters for its data center projects. You will draft, negotiate, and manage complex contracts, advise on risk allocation, and shape project strategy across the site lifecycle.

You will partner with Site Acquisition, Development, and Operations teams, review entitlements and utility agreements, and coordinate with outside counsel to ensure timely and compliant project delivery at Cedar's data center sites.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar.
• Experience with construction, development, procurement, or large-scale commercial contracts.

Responsibilities

• Lead drafting, negotiation, and management of construction, design, procurement, and equipment agreements.
• Advise on contract structure, risk allocation, warranties, indemnification, and dispute resolution.
• Partner with Site Acquisition, Development, and Procurement teams on legal matters across the site lifecycle.
• Coordinate with outside counsel and manage legal spend for assigned projects.
