PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVE
SAP is seeking an experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join our Field Legal Organization in the Americas region. As a member of the North America Field Legal Team, you will provide legal support to SAP and our business teams, particularly SAP’s sales and business teams in the Southern United States, the South Market Unit. Your primary responsibilities will entail drafting and negotiating complex technology cloud services, licenses, and related agreements, supporting SAP’s business growth strategies while adhering to risk management policies and compliance.
You will serve as the main legal contact for sales and business teams, offering advice on cloud agreements and other legal matters such as contract strategy, data privacy, AI, cybersecurity, IP, and license compliance. The role may also support other areas like marketing, licensing, bankruptcy, and procurement.
You should demonstrate the ability to draft and negotiate complex agreements, collaborating with SAP’s Commercial Business Partners and Finance teams, and working in a dynamic environment. Experience in the cloud (SaaS) sector is strongly preferred.
