Thompson Hine LLP is seeking a Senior Billing Specialist to manage the client billing process for an assigned group of attorneys across multiple offices. The role requires preparing prebills, revising drafts, and ensuring compliance with client guidelines.

The position involves communicating with partners, associates, and staff, handling e-bills, and addressing billing issues promptly, with opportunities to contribute to process improvements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience in Billing.
• Minimum of five years in a Billing Coordinator or Specialist role in a law firm or professional services firm.
• Experience with Aderant Classic/Elite and eBilling Hub; familiarity with multiple client billing platforms.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly prebills and ad-hoc prebills for attorney review and approval.
• Prepare and revise draft bills reflecting attorney comments.
• Review prebills/draft bills for client guidelines compliance.
