Qualifications

• Five years of increasingly responsible legal administrative, secretarial, or clerical experience; with at least one year of lead experience.
• Equivalent to completion of the twelfth grade preferably supplemented by college course work in paralegal, business, accounting, or a related field.
• May need to possess a valid driver's license as required by the position; proof of adequate vehicle insurance and medical clearance may also be required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct and supervise legal office operations/activities.
• Analyze work papers, reports, and special projects; identify and interpret technical and numerical information; observe and problem solve operational and technical policies and procedures.
• Develop and monitor program budgets and prepare cost estimates; ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
• Maintain confidentiality and establish effective working relationships with staff and the public.
