Job summary

Placer County District Attorney's Office is seeking an Assistant Chief District Attorney Investigator to lead and manage the Investigations Division in the Roseville office. The role includes coordinating programs, conducting sensitive investigations, and guiding background checks under the DA's leadership.

Qualifications

• Four (4) years of increasingly responsible experience in criminal investigation operations, two of which must be in a District Attorney’s Office, and two years of supervisory responsibility.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in criminal justice, business or public administration, or a related field.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance may be required.
• Possession of a current Advanced POST certificate and management certificate within 12 months after appointment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Chief District Attorney Investigator in managing and directing activities of the Investigations Division.
• Coordinate activities within assigned programs and manage department background investigations.
• Facilitate division training and assist with sensitive investigations.
• Organize division programs and budget administration.
